Phoenix American Financial Services is looking for individuals to join our team in servicing our growing client portfolio and to help our investment administration staff.  Our company has administered millions of investments for hundreds of alternative investment funds and we have a reputation for excellence in the direct investment industry.  We are a registered Transfer agent with the SEC and offer our clients full service investment administration including investor relation support and accreditation services in accordance with SEC rule 506(c).  

Job Description

The Level III Investor Services Rep will report to a Team Manager. This experienced role will act in a key capacity as a link between our clients, our operations in India and executive management. Phoenix American is a small, entrepreneurial fund administration and accounting firm that is growing rapidly and poised to capture a large market share. To do this, we need quality people who are both willing to communicate their thoughts on improvement as well as rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. This role will utilize a lot of data analytics to ensure our output is meeting client standards and will be responsible for using those reports to suggest change. This role will require a detail-oriented individual, who has strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Previous back office investment administration and customer service experience preferred.

 

Responsibilities may include:

•    Project Management
•    Overseeing operations in India through data analytics
•    Cash control and reconciliation for operational processes
•    Ongoing department and procedure analysis to implement improvements for the       department
•    Act as liaison between our operations and end user client managers
•    Working with software development team to make improvements to the proprietary software system
•    Work with compliance to ensure operational adherence to industry regulations, laws and best practices

Job Requirements: 

•    BS Degree or 2 + years of financial experience required
•    Master’s Degree or 4+ years of financial or financial operations experience preferred
•    Experience working in a team and client service environment
•    Strong knowledge of investment fund administration a plus
