Job Description

Are you passionate about billing systems and looking for an ambitious new project to test and grow your skills?  We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Billing Systems Analyst to perform an examination of our of current billing system and participate in process improvements and system conversions while performing all aspects of full-charge client billing for our professional service division.  This is an exciting opportunity to use system and process knowledge to help design a new billing process for our rapidly growing service line.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze, participate, and recommend improvements to existing procedures and internal controls
  • Work with Account Managers and Directors to review contracts, discuss billing concerns, address outstanding invoices and collection strategies
  • Generate reports and compile complex month-end billing arrangements to clients for professional service divisions
  • Assist with collections of aged receivables
  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems
  • Create billing schedules and various other billing analysis as required
  • Generate monthly reports and ad-hoc reports as requested
  • Anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of legal or professional services billing
  • Previous work experience in the financial services industry helpful
  • Knowledge of contractual language 
  • Proficiency of MS Office applications required, Quick Books experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work indepenently
