Job Description

Our Finance team is seeking a proactive and adaptable  Accountant. This role is an integral part of the Finance function, providing support and management of the corporate trust accounts. 

  • Prepare month end financials and management reporting for properties, ensuring timely delivery of reports to property managers, owners and State Trust accounting function as required, including accruals, prepayments and analysing variances.
  • Reconcile trust bank Accounts.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving issues, reconciling financial data to ensure accurate and timely reporting to clients and management.
  • Work closely with AP and AR team to ensure processing is accurate and assist with queries.
  • Undertake Monthly Accrual Variance Reporting and month end close off
  • Directly Responsible for the recording, reporting and analysis of the financial performance for the Retail Centres & General Properties within the portfolio
  • Identify areas for improvement and work to deliver better services to Colliers and its clients.

Qualifications

The skills and experience you will bring to this role include:

  • Desirable to be CA or CPA qualified or working towards accreditation.
  • Knowledge of MRI software is desirable
  • Excellent Communication skills both Written and Oral, ability to converse with all level of staff  
  • Worked with multiple stakeholders under various time time & KPI pressures  
  • It is essential to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel )
