People Can Fly is one of the leading independent AAA games development studios with an international team of hundreds of talented individuals working from offices located in Poland, UK, Ireland, US, and Canada and from all over the world thanks to our remote work programs.
Founded in 2002, we made our mark on the shooter genre with titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders. We are one of the most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the industry and we are expanding it with in-house solutions called PCF Framework.
Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is our new project being developed with Square Enix; Maverick is a Triple-A game developed in collaboration with Microsoft Corporation; Bifrost & Victoria are projects we're growing in the self-publishing model. We are also busy working on a VR and undisclosed projects, more information on those to come later.

Job Description
- Deliver UX content while following the quality standards, artistic direction and deadlines.
- Act as owner of some UX features and drive them from the concept phase throughout the iteration process up to a highly polished final experience.
- Always work with accessibility in mind.
- Follow the workflow of the UX department.
- Precise and reliable on tasks estimates and delivery schedule.
- Proactively raise flags if needed.
- Tend to represent the final player instead of itself in discussion.
- Collaborate with UI artists, designers, and other disciplines to create excellent and coherent user experience.
- Create Precise UX Flow and pixel perfect wireframe if needed (depending on the case).
- Assist UI art teams and UI prog teams in implementation.
- Contribute to R&D projects if needed.
- Fix UX Bug by finding smart solutions instead of re-inventing the wheel each time.
- Proactively seek out playtest and user research user studies.
- Analyze user research data, presenting improvements and red flags.
- Occasionally support Lead in recruitment projects with HR collaboration.
- Occasionally can onboard new hires.
Qualifications
- Typically 5 years of UX experience.
- Typically at least 1 shipped AAA project from start to finish with credits.
- Expertise in game design fundamentals and game UX design trends.
- Expertise in UX interaction and design principles and deliverables including rapid prototyping, concept diagrams, user scenarios, wireframes, flows, experience maps, design patterns and annotated comps.
- Knowledge of user research methodologies.
- Good knowledge of motion design, UI design, sound design.
- Strong communication skills with various development teams.
- Ability to illustrate ideas and advocate them within the team.
- Self-motivation.
- Good mentoring skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Technical knowledge of UE5.
