Job Description

This position will be responsible for aligning the company’s operational functions to better meet customer needs. Achievement of this goal will require skills in planning, process management and implementation in an efficient and strategic way.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management:

Engage broad stakeholders, defining project plans - define project scope and objectives, secure appropriate resources, develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project and/or group of related projects,

  • Ensure control of project and project work streams: dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, dependencies and change
  • Contribute to solutions to achieve project objectives/milestones; present creative and thoughtful recommendations when project plans are at risk and leverage escalation paths when appropriate
  • Communicate project details effectively - establish scalable templates and dashboards to depict project health against plan
  • Lead weekly project status update meetings.
  • Make sure all team members know what is required, by when and that the stage gate process is followed.
  • Develop and maintain project plans for all key projects, through development and through launch
  • Ensure that work is carried out as per the guidelines, within budget and schedule.
  • Plan and actively participate in various meetings related to the project (start-up, follow-up, post-mortem, etc.).
  • Provide assistance and direction to the following key functional areas: Product, Sales,  Marketing, Finance, UI/UX, Technology to ensure the business maintains high levels of customer care by delivering the best value to our customers.
  • Keep the CEO informed on all critical issues, priorities, opportunities and emerging risks;
  • Review performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement of the
    • Lead implementation and measurement to improve service performance metrics.
  • Follow and develop operations procedures (as needed) to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.

Product:

  • Plan and actively participate in various meetings related to the project (start-up, follow-up, post-mortem, etc.).

 

Operations Leadership:
 

  • Drives team accountability within Operations for the timely and accurate closure of projects to support effective project and budget management.
  • Thorough knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
  • Ability to identify and analyze compliance driven operations requirements.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control processes are embedded in the utility ways of working and are implemented consistently to monitor and manage business operations and risk.

 

Qualifications

What you need:

  •  Strong technical skills with at least 2 + years of relevant experience
  •  Experience with Excel, Microsoft Teams Microsoft Office, and Outlook
  •  Resourcefulness in proactive problem-solving specific to critical and analytical thinking
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills
  •  Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and efficiency in time management
