About this opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Recovery & Wellbeing Coach to join our Group Health & Safety team. In this role, you'll partner with leaders, employees, healthcare providers and claims agents to support safe and sustainable recovery outcomes for employees experiencing work and non-work-related injuries or illness.

This is a highly collaborative role that supports multiple Pact sites and will require regular travel across NSW and interstate as needed.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage workers compensation and injury management cases from end to end
  • Develop and implement individual recovery and return-to-work plans
  • Proactively identify and address barriers to recovery and return to work
  • Liaise with employees, managers, healthcare providers, rehabilitation consultants and claims agents
  • Coordinate and monitor early intervention and onsite physiotherapy programs
  • Facilitate case conferences, claims reviews and strategic stakeholder meetings
  • Provide injury management guidance and support to sites across the business
  • Maintain accurate injury and claims records and reporting
  • Support the implementation of Group wellbeing and injury management initiatives

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Experience in injury management, workers compensation or return-to-work coordination
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation and relevant legislation
  • A background in allied health, health and safety, rehabilitation or a related discipline
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities
  • Strong administrative and reporting capabilities
  • Strong general IT skills – Microsoft Excel and word
  • Experience using injury management systems (SolvInjury experience highly regarded)
  • A current driver's licence
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field (under graduate, health and safety, allied health)
