Candidates must know how to design and develop product using NX 7.5 or higher. Have good packaging skills of OEM supplied parts and data. Create concept and feasibility studies. Create production release GD&T detailed and assembly drawings that meet company’s standards and specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• · Minimum of 3 years of experience in NX CAD Engineering
• · Ability to utilize drafting designer tools including NX7.5 or higher
• · Create good surfaces and tangencies of mating surfaces
• · Experience in mechanical design
• · Ability to perform tolerance stack-ups
• · Create GD&T detailed and assembly Drawings
• · Have strong oral and written communication skills
• · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• · Understanding of design for various manufacturing processes
• · PDM. Product Data Management system experience. Team Center etc.
• · BOM. Bill of Material software experience.

EDUCATION:  

Either one of the three below

• · Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years’ experience
• · Associates degree and 3-4 years’ experience
• · 6+ years’ of related automotive or heavy truck Experience required.
