Job Description
The Morning Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, kitchen sanitation, and resident dining support to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Schedule
- Morning Shift
- Weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Flexible scheduling available
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas for breakfast and lunch service
- Assist cooks with meal preparation and plating
- Serve meals according to resident dietary requirements
- Deliver trays and beverages to residents as needed
- Assist residents with meal setup and dining support
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining rooms, and food preparation areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety and infection control procedures
- Properly store food and supplies
- Assist with special events, holiday meals, and cultural food activities
- Promote a positive dining experience for residents and guests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2 Forms of Identification
- Copy of Immunizations
- Tribal ID (if claiming Indian Preference)
- Food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds
- Must pass background screening and comply with facility policies
