Job Description
Purpose of the job:
Develop your compliance career within a global financial services business where you'll play a key role in supporting regulatory excellence, governance and client confidence. Working closely with senior Risk and Compliance leaders, you'll contribute to a strong compliance culture while supporting business growth across the UAE and wider Group.
This is an opportunity to build expertise across compliance, anti-money laundering and regulatory activities while collaborating with stakeholders across the business. From supporting new business reviews and enhancing compliance frameworks to contributing to awareness initiatives and regulatory best practices, you'll develop valuable technical knowledge and make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the review of new business opportunities, helping to promote effective and compliant client onboarding.
- Provide practical guidance to colleagues on compliance-related matters and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of compliance records, registers and governance activities.
- Support the coordination of key compliance activities across the business to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
- Review Politically Exposed Person applications and support internal approval processes in line with established frameworks.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of anti-money laundering policies, procedures and controls.
- Support business-wide reviews and initiatives that strengthen governance and compliance practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation, guidance materials and internal resources.
- Assist with compliance awareness and training initiatives that promote knowledge sharing across the organisation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing trusted compliance support and guidance.
- Contribute to compliance projects and initiatives that support business growth and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience within compliance, risk, anti-money laundering or a regulatory environment, with an understanding of financial crime and regulatory requirements.
- Degree in Law, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or a relevant professional compliance qualification.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret information and provide balanced recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across the business.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate activities and maintain high-quality outputs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience supporting compliance records, registers or governance activities.
