Purpose of the Job
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Alternative Investments/Global Funds team as part of our Client Due Diligence (CDD) function.
This role plays an important part in supporting investor onboarding and ongoing due diligence activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering an excellent service to internal stakeholders. You'll work closely with Compliance, Fund Administration teams, Management, and Directors to manage investor CDD processes and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of risk management and regulatory compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct CDD reviews for a range of investor types, including simplified, standard, and high-risk investors and structures.
- Review internal systems and databases to determine whether prospective investors are existing clients or investors.
- Prepare detailed ownership and structure charts, identifying controllers and Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
- Identify any gaps or deficiencies in CDD documentation and work with Administrators to obtain the required information.
- Support investor screening processes and complete relevant internal documentation and checklists.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Investor CDD Tracker.
- Provide support, guidance, and knowledge sharing to colleagues across the team.
- Act as deputy to the CDD Manager when required.
- Liaise with the CDD Manager, Compliance team, and FATCA/CRS specialists to obtain guidance, approvals, and sign-off where necessary.
- Apply a strong understanding of AML/CFT requirements, customer due diligence standards, and cross-border regulatory obligations.
- Ensure risk management, review procedures, and operational controls are consistently followed.
- Escalate risks, issues, or concerns promptly to management or Directors where appropriate.
- Support additional CDD, compliance, and operational activities as required by the CDD Manager and wider Global Funds business.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when handling information relating to Ocorian, its clients, and employees.
- Record time accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all information security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the protection of sensitive information.

Qualifications
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
- A degree in Law, Management, Finance, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- Professional qualifications, or progress towards qualifications such as ICSA, STEP, or other relevant certifications, are desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within Compliance, CDD/KYC, Fund Administration, Trust, Corporate Services, or a related financial services environment.
- Good technical understanding of AML/CFT legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience reviewing corporate ownership structures and beneficial ownership information.
- Strong understanding of customer due diligence processes and risk-based approaches.
- Knowledge of international and cross-border CDD requirements would be beneficial.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to work confidently across multiple systems and databases.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
