Job Description
Reporting to the underground Maintenance Superintendent, this role will work to ensure all maintenance work is fully scoped and resourced, providing an achievable plan with all necessary materials, resources and services confirmed.
This is a multifaceted role that will support the; planning and scheduling team, maintenance execution teams and the engineering team to ensure the right work is done at the right time across 1-week to 5-year horizon timelines.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Creating short, medium and long term maintenance plans as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent and the maintenance budget.
- Timely and effective planning of maintenance and resources to maintain equipment to relevant standards with minimal equipment down time.
- Maintaining planning and reporting systems to acceptable standards.
- Plan for and facilitate the effective utilisation of available resources.
- Producing and disseminating maintenance plans.
- Ensure periodic reports are accurate and submitted on time.
- Ensure information supplied regarding maintenance is accurate and timely.
- Carry out specific responsibilities as defined in project management systems.
- Ensure compliance and the use of project documentation and systems for all procedures, risk assessments and documentation for the maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications
- Tertiary level Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience (Mining, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or related heavy industry.
- Current NZ work rights / unrestricted NZ Visa.
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence.
