Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

The Senior Business Partner - Talent Acquistion will lead the development and execution of strategic talent acquisition initiatives that ensure the organization attracts and hires top talent aligned with workforce plans and business strategy. This role partners closely with business leaders to drive forecasting, talent pipelining, recruitment best practices, and candidate experience while promoting diversity, efficiency, and a strong employer brand in a national and global scope. You will:

  • Partner with the business and forecast workforce needs and develop talent pipelines to ensure readiness for current and future roles.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from requisition to onboarding, ensuring alignment with business goals and HR best practices.
  • Be responsible for high-quality, diverse hires by implementing sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates nationally and globally.
  • Conduct proactive sourcing on platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and the ATS
  • position the organization as an employer of choice and deliver an engaging, respectful candidate journey from application to onboarding including: monitor and report on the effectiveness of branding initiatives in recruitment and retention, increase visibility and attractiveness as an employer, share approved branding materials regularly on LinkedIn
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, improve performance, and streamline recruitment processes for scalability and effectiveness
  • Reduced time-to-fill and improved hiring accuracy

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions in a mid-to-large organisation
  • Proven track record in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning and pipeline development
  • Strong understanding of recruitment compliance, employment legislation, and diversity and inclusion hiring practices
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to align hiring plans with workforce and succession strategies
  • Knowledge of employer branding, social sourcing, and talent attraction strategies to support hiring outcomes
  • Ability to operate in complex and fast-paced environments, including high-volume, niche, or international recruitment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions and drive recruitment outcomes
  • Location requirement:

    • Willing to work onsite at the Makati office 5 days per week
    • Must be willing to travel on official business in Didipio or other location/s as needed by the role
