Job Description

The HR Generalist/ Administrator will perform Human Resources related duties for all employee levels and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: on-boarding,
off-boarding, managing employee changes, benefits administration, policy interpretation, training and some minor employee relations issues

Responsibilities:

  • Assists department in carrying out various HR programs and procedures for all company
    employees.

  • Handle the onboarding process for assigned employee groups, which may include
    administering pre-employment tests, candidate travel, application tracking,
    drafting offer letters background check and drug test administration, systems
    integration and introductions.

  • Handle the entire off-boarding process for assigned employee groups to include
    administering exit surveys and follow up, notification of systems deletions, along
    with tracking of attrition

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

  • Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely
    fashion.

  • Compliance Administration – 1-9/E verification training & administration, compliance
    posters, EEO & veterans tracking.

  • Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.

  • Project Administration – employee relocation, performance plan system maintenance and
    customer service, employee service, employee wellness program.

  • Data Management – complete employee changes in HRIS.

  • Partner in Training administration and deliver for various programs with division
    training administrator.

  • Responds to first level employee relation issues such as employee complaints

  • Conducts new hire orientation.

  • Involved with benefits administration including open enrollments, change of life status changes and COBRA administration

  • Handles all uncontested unemployment claims,  completes reference checks and
    other paperwork

     

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, OR 2-3 years’ experience in the
    HR field, OR Any similar combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to research and analyze various different type of data information.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Possess working knowledge of excel and proficient in reporting data using v-lookups and pivot
    tables
