Cook County Hospital District d/b/a North Shore Health is a Critical Access Hospital with ED, Ambulance service, Outpatient services, Home Health and an attached Care Center.
 

North Shore Health has a full-time, salaried position available in the Hospital Department for a Clinical Nurse Manager. The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for directing, organizing, and supervising the work of hospital nursing and ancillary staff within the assigned patient care area. This role promotes and restores patients’ health by providing effective day‑to‑day operational management, ensuring high‑quality clinical practice, and leading long‑term planning initiatives that support safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care. The Clinical Nurse Manager collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes and maintain a culture of excellence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:  Three (3) years relative experience is required.  Demonstrate proficient us of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook. 

Education:  Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. 

Licensure/Certification/Registration:  Current license in Minnesota to practice as a Registered Nurse.  ACLS Certification upon hire.  PALS, TNCC and CALS Certifications within six (6) months of hire.  BLS Certification with a designation of either "BLS Provider" from the American Heart Association.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:  Meditech Information System experience in PCS, EDM and EMR with an understanding of information flow throughout the Meditech System. 

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or ability to obtain within two years.

Starting range is $51.60 to $78.03 per hour
