Job Description

The Client Advocate Supervisor position is responsible for managing and developing the Client Advocate Team.  The primary objective is to drive performance improvements that will lead to maximizing sales growth from existing customers through the development of new lane segments, product marketing, and customer support strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Develop an inside sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Brainstorm with Client Advocate team to create new market penetration strategies, and continuous enhancement of approaches
  • Formulate Client Advocate policies and procedures, and make sure the team adheres to it. 
  • Facilitate/Identify training requirements where necessary and define development plans.
  • Develop sales scripts, pitches and the weekly training program to drive continuous advance of the team and improve performance.
  • Manage sales dashboards to meet/achieve sales quotas 
  • Generate timely sales reports. Plan and prepare presentations.
  • Set individual sales targets with business development Client Advocate team and review results on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Hold Client Advocate reps accountable for sales and expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Lead, motivate and guide all the members of the business development Client Advocate team to maintain the highest level of performance. 
  • Recruit talent. Evaluate resumes, perform interviews (phone and in person). Match the most suitable candidates to the business development representative position.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to define and monitor KPI's of team members and overall team performance. Understand the target markets, and company strategy to continuous remodel approach. 
  • Improve customer service quality results by monitoring processes, evaluating results, and implementing appropriate changes.
  • Participate in developing marketing and sales campaigns with the objective of hitting desired goals
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
  • Guides, responds and helps resolve current and new account issues received via telephone, email, and mail including, but not limited to product information and sample requests; ordering and order status; account information; new account applications; product quality and medical complaints; patient assistance program; credit requests; promotions and events; coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Certification:  

Bachelor degree or equivalent educational program degree preferred.

 

Required Knowledge:        

  • Ability to analyze industry trends and develop strategy to penetrate key client organizations across sales territory.
  • Proven track record of sales success and exceeding targets

 

Experience Required:        

Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience of direct reports

1 – 3 years of inside sales or relevant medical background

  • Preferred experience in virtual/telesales
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Self-confident; self-starter and self-motivated
  • Capable of independent work and prioritization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant programs pertaining to products
