Job Summary:

The Analyst Procurement supports sourcing activities for the allocated sub-categories as well as the related category. The role contributes analytical support, spend data management and supplier coordination to ensure services are sourced and managed in a way that delivers measurable value, operational efficiency and reliable service delivery. Applying procurement best practices, the role assists with spend data collection, supplier information gathering, and basic benchmarking of pricing and service delivery models to support sourcing decisions and stakeholder recommendations. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the role supports the translation of operational priorities into sourcing activities and supplier engagements that help the company manage costs, ensure program continuity, and access reliable services across the categories in scope. Operating within a global procurement framework, the role supports consistent application of sourcing governance and supplier management practices, while leveraging digital procurement tools and data-driven insights to improve spend visibility and process efficiency. ESG and supplier diversity considerations are applied as part of broader sourcing decisions.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Support spend data collection and reporting, helping to maintain visibility of expenditure, supplier coverage, and contract status.
  2. Assist in the execution of sourcing activities by gathering supplier information, preparing RFI and RFP documentation, and compiling market data to support sourcing decisions and stakeholder recommendations.
  3. Collect and organize market information to support supplier selection and sourcing decisions.
  4. Support the execution of sourcing activities and supplier engagement to contribute to cost savings, improved contract terms, and reliable service delivery across the categories in scope.
  5. Flag opportunities to simplify the supplier base and improve service consistency.
  6. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure procurement activities support operational priorities.
  7. Assist in competitive sourcing processes including preparation of RFI and RFP documentation, supplier evaluation support, and contract administration in line with company procurement policies and governance requirements.
  8. Assist in tracking supplier performance by maintaining records of service delivery, supporting periodic reviews, and escalating issues to ensure continuity and reliability of services.
  9. Support contract management and supplier governance to ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms, service levels, and risk requirements, including data privacy considerations and appropriate regard for ESG and supplier diversity.
  10. Support process simplification and supply base management by maintaining accurate supplier records, contract registers, and procurement documentation to reduce administrative complexity and improve operational efficiency.
  11. Maintain category spend tracking and contract coverage records, leveraging digital procurement tools to support visibility, reporting, and compliance monitoring across the categories in scope.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Contribution to value delivered across the categories in scope including cost savings, service quality, and contract compliance, in line with targets set.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of spend data, supplier records, and procurement documentation maintained to support category operations and reporting.
  • Delivery of sourcing activities and contracts aligned to operational priorities.
  • Supplier performance against agreed service levels including quality, reliability, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
  • Compliance with Procurement policy, contracting standards, and applicable regulations including data privacy and basic ESG requirements.
  • Continuity and reliability of critical services.
  • Timely execution of sourcing processes including RFI, RFP, negotiations, and contract implementation.
  • Supply base effectiveness including appropriate supplier coverage, service consistency, and managed risk exposure.
  • Effective use of digital procurement tools and data-driven insights to improve spend visibility and process efficiency.
  • Growing personal capability, engagement, and effectiveness within the Procurement team.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements: 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Business, Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and basic reporting; familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Exposure to procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba or equivalent is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in procurement, purchasing, or a related function within global or multi-regional organizations.
  • Experience with spend data management and basic procurement reporting, with the ability to organize and present data clearly to support sourcing activities and stakeholder communication.
  • Some exposure to supporting sourcing activities or procurement projects, including assisting with supplier evaluations, RFx processes, or contract administration, with an understanding of how procurement contributes to cost management and service quality.
  • Familiarity with gathering supplier and market information to support sourcing decisions, including basic price comparisons and supplier capability assessments.
  • Basic commercial awareness and an interest in developing negotiation skills, with exposure to reviewing supplier proposals and supporting contract documentation processes.
  • Basic financial literacy with the ability to work with cost data, compare pricing structures, and support straightforward commercial evaluations under guidance.
  • Some experience with supplier coordination or contract administration, including maintaining records, tracking deliverables, and supporting service review processes.
  • Basic familiarity with procurement systems or digital tools such as SAP Ariba or equivalent is a plus.
  • Basic awareness of data privacy requirements and ESG principles relevant to sourcing decisions.
