Job Description
We are looking for experienced and passionate team member to join our Retail Services team in Istanbul.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with a group of assigned retail clients resulting in achieving revenue target and client satisfaction, increase client engagement and selling Retail Measurement services and NielsenIQ solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a strong connection and relationship with existing retail partners
- Identifying opportunities to broaden GfK’s penetration into the client’s business (incl. sales activities)
- Recruitment of new retail partners within audited distribution channels
- Setting up new distribution channels
- Preparation and presentations of market reviews to retail partners
- Improving data frequency and quality, ensuring seamless data flow
- Actively participation in industry events and fairs e.g. speaking at conferences, events
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree a plus
- Min. 10 years of experience in FMCG, Retail and/or Trade Marketing, knowledge of NielsenIQ Data set is a plus
- Previous experience in a client service management role
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to bring added value in teamwork
- Awareness of the clients’ needs
- Strong business acumen and financial knowledge
- Ability to manage and develop people
- Fluency in English and Turkish
- Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office software
- Travel is required within Turkey
