Job Description

This position will be responsible for delighting clients around Asia through delivering retail measurement insights and analysis. 

Main responsibilities include: 

  • Providing performance overview analysis and business issue analysis to Consumer-Packaged Goods clients around Asia. 

  • Providing in-depth consulting services and delivering insights and analytics as well as thought leadership. 

  • Understand NielsenIQ software and be able to leverage our data sets to teach clients and junior analyst as well as to conduct best in class analytics. 

  • Identify opportunities and work with the sales team to facilitate a commercial approach to help NielsenIQ grow   

  • To coach and manage insights associates within the assigned industry within their regional cluster. 

  • To own the planned/ad hoc category review presentations, by collaborating with Consulting (e.g. attending briefing session and check-in review sessions) and identifying workforce allocation within Insight Associates.  

  • To own Thought Leadership output for the assigned industry within their cluster and partner with the Cluster Leader to drive Thought Leadership for their industry across all Asia. 

  • Working closely with the Consulting Lead and Customer Service to transform customer experience

Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business  

  • Around 5 years work experience, preferably within analytics and insights or market research 

  • Knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry 

  • Knowledge of research techniques and methodologies would be an advantage. 

  • Excellent analytical skills 

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills  

  • Experience managing people and developing talent. 

  • An ability to work independently and in a team.  

  • Good interpersonal skills are a must. 

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin. 

  • Experience in Retail Measurement and Consumer Panel is an advantage.
