The Komatsu Williams Engineering Academy offers you exclusive mentorship, exposure to cutting edge engineering innovation and support throughout your university education from both Komatsu and Atlassian Williams F1 Team. The Academy is perfect for those looking to kick-start their career and learn whilst studying.
As an Academy member you will gain:

- A Williams F1 Team or Komatsu employee mentor, providing quarterly coaching sessions

Please note, you must be attending the Formula Student UK Final in Silverstone to be eligible to apply. The assessment centre selection process will run at Silverstone in England, on Friday 17th July.

Qualifications
We are looking for students who are:
- Passionate about engineering
- An active member of a Formula Student team
- A first- or second-year student in university
- Curious and open-minded
- Enthusiastic, interested and motivated to learn new things
- Conscientious
- Active listeners – there will be lots of information to digest!

Application Process:
Stage 1: Application - Please submit your CV and cover letter outlining why you are interested in applying for the Komatsu Williams Engineering Academy.
Stage 2: Online Testing - You'll be invited to complete an online assessment designed to evaluate your skills and capabilities. To perform at your best, make sure you’re in a quiet environment with a stable internet connection. Please note you can only complete one assessment and you have a maximum of 5 days to complete this initial stage.
Stage 3: Video Submission - If selected, you will be asked to create an engaging video within a 5 day period. You will be asked to create a 3-minute video, answering key questions from the recruitment team as disclosed in direct communications.
Please note that should you reach this stage in the recruitment process you may receive the request to send over a copy of a portfolio of project work that you have done.
Stage 4: Assessment Centre held on Friday 17th July at the Formula Student UK Finals at Silverstone where you will be assessed on technical and behavioural tasks individually and as a team.
Winners to be announced following the Formula Student UK Finals.
