About the Role 

We’re looking for a reliable Service Technician to join our team in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and servicing parts-washer machines (Turbo washers), workshop and industrial collections at customer sites. You’ll primarily work Monday to Friday with 2-3 days of travel throughout the South Island required each week.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, clean, and service equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and noting maintenance needs.
  • Collect, record, and safely store waste and chemicals.
  • Transport waste in compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations.
  • Be available for occasional out-of-town and overnight runs.

Qualifications

About You:

  • You hold a valid NZ Class 4 Licence with at least one year of experience driving Class 4 trucks.
  • You’re physically fit and comfortable working autonomously or within a team.
  • You have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
  • Communication skills are key, with a positive, “can do” attitude.
  • A Dangerous Goods certificate is required.
  • Full training will be provided, but you need to be self-motivated and reliable.
