Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) teams assist global banks, retailers, local FinTechs, and governments by solving strategic payment challenges and identifying opportunities. They offer end-to-end support in benchmarking, ideation, definition, implementation, and monitoring, helping clients achieve scale, competitive advantage, and speed to market in the digital age.
In Europe, VCA delivers consulting projects across various payment areas to support Visa's revenue targets. The European VCA team is organized around key Service Lines and Practice Areas including Functional Practices such as Portfolio Optimization, Portfolio Migrations, Strategy, Digital, Risk and AI as well as Client Practices like Commercial & Money Movement, Acquiring and Merchants.
This role will report to the Practice Areas Lead for VCA Europe, and will support across the team’s full remit of: orchestration and governance of the VCA Practice Areas strategy & content, innovation, thought leadership, communications, knowledge sharing of best practices, cross-functional partnership across VCA and the expansion of people development training programmes to upskill VCA EU.
During your internship, you may support activities such as:
- Assisting the Practice Areas Lead in ongoing development of EU Practice Area initiatives aligned to Visa & VCA’s long‑term strategy.
- Supporting the coordination of knowledge‑sharing sessions (e.g., Lunch & Learns, training sessions) to help foster innovation and continuous learning.
- Helping maintain and update key knowledge platforms (SharePoint, Teams sites, internal resources) with new content, templates and best practices.
- Supporting the identification and testing of new AI tools and capabilities that could boost team efficiency and productivity.
- Assisting in the creation of internal communications, presentations, dashboards and updates for both senior stakeholders and broader VCA audiences.
- Conducting research to support thought leadership content such as white papers, data stories, blog posts or articles.
- Supporting onboarding activities by helping develop and refine training content for new joiners across VCA EU.
- Collaborating with pan‑European VCA functions to support One Hub priorities and cross‑regional alignment.
- Helping with internal reporting and scorecard tracking to demonstrate the value delivered by VCA projects and Practice Areas initiatives.
You may have the opportunity to participate in internal meetings, client‑related discussions, or cross‑functional working groups, depending on project needs and availability.
Visa’s Summer Intern Programme:
Visa hires into its Summer Interns across Asia Pacific (APAC), Latin America (LAC), CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East & Africa) and Europe. Within each region we hire students into a variety of business functions, joining in either our June or July cohort, as part of a Global programme.
This is an 11-week programme, where you are supported with various skills and development sessions throughout your time as an Intern. You are required to be available for the continuous 11 weeks with the option to take some annual leave days should you need.
Our 2 Summer Intern cohort dates are:
Intern cohort 1: Tuesday 16th June
Intern cohort 2: Tuesday 7th July
The aim of Visa’s Summer internship programme is not only to provide you with exposure and experience within a world leading payments company but is that based on your performance and personal experience we would aim extend an offer to return the following summer on our Graduate programme as a permeant employee.

Minimum Requirements
- Be in your penultimate year of university (your course will complete in 2027).
- Full, permanent right to work in the UK— Visa cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, consulting and the payments industry.
