Open VisaNet and Europe Technology Operations

Open VisaNet (OVN) is responsible for building and modernising an advanced technology infrastructure for the long-term architecture of VisaNet, our core payments processing capability. The team is developing the next generation, agile platform for Authorization, Clearing and Settlement functionality that will scale to support all of our Global payments processing.

Value-Added Services Product Development

VAS PD connects customers to Portfolio Solutions that enhance their business. Our organization brings products and solutions together to provide hundreds of flexible solution bundles annually. We deliver solutions that make us and our customers proud.

Payment Products Development

Develops and manages end-to-end technology solutions that deliver reliable, scalable and secure financial transaction processing services to Visa issuers and acquirers.

New Flows Product Development

The New Flows Product Development (NFPD) organization was formed in FY22 with the intention of driving Visa’s strategy to expand beyond core Consumer to Business (C2B) payments into broader money movement flows across individuals, businesses, and governments. This new team focuses on building product capabilities and technology platforms such as Visa Direct that provides an extensive network of card and bank account end points to support the money movement needs of clients across multiple use cases like peer to peer (P2P), business to small business (B2b), business to consumer (B2C), government to consumer (G2C), and government to business (G2B) push payments; Visa Business Solutions (VBS) delivering solutions to financial institutions and corporates for processing high-value, cross-border, bank account-based business to business (B2B) payments; and Visa Government Solutions that aims to capture significant transaction volume in areas of government disbursements and commercial payments.

Data and AI Platform

To timely deliver secure, high-quality Visa data assets and AI as a service, with reliable and scalable data platform as a service to enable rapid and efficient innovation of data-driven business products and services to lead the digital payment industry.

Regional Solutions and Digital Partnerships

Regional Solutions and Digital Partnerships (RSDP) meets the prioritized needs of Visa’s regional markets and quickly turns innovative ideas into revenue-generating products through a dedicated, fast and fungible technology resourcing model that addresses a gap in Visa’s global product development delivery process and delivers critical business capabilities that establish more successful country-specific solutions; enable regional, fintech, big tech, and other key digital partners to thrive; and inform corporate investment decisions amidst the evolving payments ecosystem.

Corporate IT

Corporate IT (CIT) is responsible for building, operating and maintaining the IT systems that power our highly connected, diverse and collaborative workforce. We support a wide range of corporate functions and initiatives, including Human Resources (HR) recruitment and employee management, vendor procurement and payment, Visa’s finance and revenue systems and critical compliance initiatives.  We are also the team responsible for our end-user systems, providing thousands of Visa’s global employees with the tools and equipment they need to do their jobs.

Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity provides enterprise-wide, risk-based security and continuity programs to meet changing internal and external threat landscapes. They seek to be the best-in-class at the physical, cyber security, network, application, and data security layers.

Operations & Infrastructure

Operations & Infrastructure’s (O&I) vision is to accelerate the innovation of Visa’s global products and services, while operating and maintaining them with best-in-class performance, security & reliability. Our mission is to deliver infrastructure and platform agility by investing in our Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) areas. To that end, we aim to comprehensively automate private/hybrid cloud capabilities and deliver operational excellence through our Global Operations and Site Reliability Engineering functions. 

Technology Planning & Business Operations

Technology Planning & Business Operations mission is to connect stakeholders inside and outside of Technology by enabling collaboration and removing barriers to effectively drive the strategic objectives of the company. Responsibilities include project & portfolio management, funding lifecycle governance, employee engagement, and Technology’s strategic initiatives including Europe Technology integration, Data Center Strategy and workforce planning.

Fulfills the long-standing vision of enabling targeted feature and product development for our regional markets in order to meaningfully grow market share, volume and revenue.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field, graduating December 2022 or later
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, python, Javascript, HTML
  • Experience with Write utilities / automation tools using Selenium, Java, REST, Python, Groovy, and more
  • Familiarity with software testing principles
  • Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies
  • Document process, designs, test results, and analysis
  • Lead root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion
  • Review and provide feedback on development code, test designs and test cases
  • Communicate status frequently to project stakeholders
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
