This is an exciting opportunity for an End User Compute Consultant, experienced with Azure, to join our Digital, Data and Cloud Platform Practice. A permanent position, you will play a critical role in driving our thriving Cloud Platform Practice forward. Version 1 have had continued success working with our customers to deliver value, innovation, and excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a specialist EUC consultant with demonstrable experience in designing and deploying highly available, performant and secure solutions for enterprise customers, using a variety of EUC technology stacks.  You will have experience of migrating customers from on-premise EUC solutions to Public Cloud.

Ideally coming from a consulting background, you will be an excellent communicator, with ability to clearly create and communicate technical designs, issues, and resolutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.  You will have good commercial awareness and be able to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunities. You will be able to effectively collaborate with others, obtain buy-in for your delivery approaches and manage your own priorities and performance to deliver high quality, highly performant solutions to our customers.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Technical leadership for cloud based EUC solutions
• Design and delivery of cloud based solutions
• Consulting with customers to understand requirements and identify opportunities
• Producing high quality documentation
• Refinement of migration processes
• Development of best practices relating to all aspects of EUC solution delivery
• Partner management and community engagement for EUC
• Collaborating with colleagues and customers facilitating knowledge sharing and development

You will have:

•  Minimum of 5 years experience designing and implementing EUC solutions for enterprise customers

Extensive experience with at least two of the following:

• Azure Virtual Desktop
• Citrix (including Citrix Cloud)
• VMware Horizon

You will also have:

• Experience in migrating EUC solutions from on-premise to public cloud
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify faults, issues or bottlenecks with EUC solutions
• A strong understanding of EUC concepts across various EUC technology stacks
• Desire to continually stay up to date and informed of the latest EUC technology developments
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure as it pertains to EUC solutions

It is essential that you have strong, in-depth and demonstrable hands-on experience with the following technologies:

• Azure (Windows) Virtual Desktop
• Citrix (including Citrix Cloud)
• Expertise in design, deployment and administration of EUC solutions
• In-depth understanding of EUC solution components for both desktop delivery and application delivery based solutions
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Identity Access Management
• Excellent customer facing communication and presentation skills
• Excellent technical writing capability for big text such as bids, and low level design
• Experience of Enterprise level datacentre migrations to Public Cloud

It is highly desirable that you have good knowledge and understanding of the following platforms and their deployment:

• Microsoft 365
• Azure Active Directory
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• VMware Horizon
• VMware Workspace ONE
• Possession of relevant certifications
