Within the Purchasing department team composed of 3 people and reporting to Procurement and Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for:

• Receive and apply job purchase planning
• Contribute to the definition of purchase specifications
• Send RFQs to vendors
• Analyse offers from suppliers and service providers, negotiate, define their contracts        and their conditions
• Issuance of direct orders, on order
• Issuance of orders for indirect activities
• Use of the company's management system for the entire passive process
• Expediting support, Logistics Management, Company Fleet Management 
• Management of suppliers, service providers or subcontractors (selection, consultation, etc.)
•  Supplier qualification and updating of the list of qualified suppliers.
• Creation of supplier data / entry of bank details.
• Contribute to the definition of performance objectives expected from suppliers
• Monitoring KPIs required by HQ
• Create and/or consolidate purchasing reporting dashboards (prices, volumes, products, services, etc.)
• Ensure the correct application of applicable competition rules and procedures
• Carry out sectoral market analyses

The ideal candidate will preferably have the following requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Electrotechnical or equivalent disciplines;
• Previous experience gained within a plant engineering company in the industrial/municipal sector or engineering company or other entities with similar and/or related businesses;
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English Language 
•  Good command of Office and Google Suite packages, knowledge of purchasing management software is appreciated
•  Knowledge of purchasing techniques: regulations, standards, procedures
• Knowledge of negotiation techniques
• Good knowledge of budget management tools
• Italian mother tongue  and English C1/C2
