An internship is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student’s field of study or career interest. An internship gives a student the opportunity for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills.
As a participant of TOMRA Internship Program, you can develop individually. The program is multidisciplinary designated to build your career across TOMRA Food through establishing an excellent international network, as well as working on strategic and operational projects provides a solid basis for a successful international career.
You will join dynamic teams to tackle exciting and varied projects during your assignments but also in joint team projects with other program participants.
Job & project description
TOMRA Food has grown rapidly over the past 10 years, including via acquisition. Our transformation journey so far has been focused on cultivating our future through joining forces, aligning ways of working and bringing customer centricity to the heart of what we do.
At present, the Transformation Management Office team is responsible for:
- Cascading our strategic ambition into tangible targets, projects and initiatives
- Focus & prioritize our programs and initiatives through portfolio planning, project management and resource allocation
- Empower & engage our people through creating a transformation culture and a common approach to change management
- Facilitate & accelerate our transformation by supporting and leading key initiatives according to business needs
As we prepare for the future growth, and our next phase of transformation, we would like to bring a common process framework, improvement methodology and tool box in place. The project would involve:
- Analysing which processes and activities are at the core of value creation at TOMRA Food
- Create a common process framework to be implemented company wide, creating a common understanding, governance and vocabulary
- Understand how our system and technology landscape supports this process framework
- Develop an understanding of the level of harmonisation of our major E2E processes
- Create a simple toolbox for process improvement
Qualifications
Current MBA student
Successful candidates should have one or more of the following skills/traits:
- interest and familiarity with process improvement and operational excellence methodology
- General business understanding from sales, operations and support functions
- Analytical mindset
- Stakeholder management and alignment
- Good communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
