ABOUT US:
Synergy Sports provides world-class video scouting for softball and baseball globally at all professional and amateur levels and is seeking qualified candidates to attend softball or baseball events as Video Scouts throughout the season. Video Scouts will capture live multi-angle video footage of assigned games on-site, track lineups and rosters, and upload video/data to the Synergy platform. Majority of events are in the Summer between June and August, however there are Spring and Fall opportunities if interested. Though most events will be assigned in your home region, there may be opportunities to travel to high profile events outside of your region. Video scouts are paid per day based on number of fields and games worked.
Video Scouts may also have the opportunity to work from home on special projects when there are no assigned events. Many past successful Synergy Video Scouts have moved on to roles with MLB clubs and collegiate baseball/softball organizations.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Work closely with Synergy Video Coordinators while on site.
- Manage video and technology equipment for game capture.
- Serve as Synergy liaison on site.
- Compile game lineups and rosters.
- Verify data accuracy and video quality.
- Upload video/data in a timely manner.
- Provide daily updates to staff and partners.
ABOUT YOU:
- Knowledge of or interest in baseball/softball operations, amateur scouting, or player development.
- Proficiency with computers (Windows, Mac).
- Experience with video equipment including cameras and SD cards is preferred.
- Previous experience with Minor League or College baseball/softball is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must have access to reliable internet, transportation, and housing in assigned region.
Payment: $180-$288 per day. Daily wage earned is dependent on number of games worked.
