Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated intern from a business school background to join our firmware organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with product development teams and contribute to strategic initiatives across program management, product selection, change management, risk management and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support program managers in planning, tracking, and executing firmware development initiatives.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting product features based on business impact, technical feasibility, and customer needs.
- Contribute to change management efforts by coordinating communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Help identify and mitigate risks across firmware programs, including schedule, resource, and technical risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and operations.
- Prepare and maintain program status reports, dashboards, and leadership presentations.
- Consolidate inputs from multiple teams to generate clear, actionable summaries for executive reviews.
- Utilize industry-leading tools to manage workflows and visualize data (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Asana).

- Currently enrolled in an MBA or equivalent engineering management program.
- Strong interest in technology, product development, and operational strategy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with program management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of firmware or embedded systems development lifecycle.
- Experience with risk assessment frameworks or change management methodologies.
- Exposure to product strategy or portfolio management.
- Comfort working with data to support decision-making (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to synthesize technical and business information for diverse audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Kanban boards, Agile boards, Asana or similar tools for task and project tracking.
