We are looking for someone to join our team as a Growth Marketer for Campaigns and Communications. This role will sit within our Brand & Audience Expansion Team and collaborate deeply with our PR & Communications teams.
As a Growth Marketer you will collaborate with our Brand and Comms teams to help them reach new audiences. This will include setting marketing KPIs, optimizing content for reach and engagement, using organic and paid growth tactics to amplify reach, and experimenting with new distribution channels. Whether it’s a brand experiment or a news story, you’ll be accountable for helping our teams reach new audiences and tracking the impact via Google Analytics, paid ad platforms, social sentiment tools and more.
Assessing and optimizing our Comms tech stack / introducing new ways to measure impact for PR and Comms initiatives
Planning and executing paid and organic digital marketing campaigns (FB, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn and more)
Working directly with our Data team to build custom reports to analyze opportunities, set up tripwires and monitor campaign performance
Leading integrated marketing campaigns that amplify Comms and Brand initiatives: planning distribution strategy, setting KPIs (e.g. traffic goals to news.shopify.com (Comms) and shopify.com/tiktok (Audience Expansion)), evaluating appropriate budget levels, and measuring results
A proven track record growing an audience for digital content or campaigns (e.g. a blog, digital publication, social account, video series, etc)
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize and monitor digital content or campaigns.
A passion for analytics and experience with the tools/resources used to measure success (Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Ahrefs, BuzzSumo, sentiment monitoring tools, etc.)
A track record running scalable and impactful performance marketing campaigns (budgets over $10,000 per project) on paid channels like Facebook, Twitter and beyond
Proficient with content marketing tools and tactics, SEO, paid media, social media management, etc.
The ability to embrace uncertainty and run with risks
Experience running your own business
Hands-on experience with digital marketing and conversion marketing techniques
Experience with the Shopify platform, as a partner or merchant
Proficiency in SQL
A good sense of humour!
