Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Activation Specialist W/M to: 

  • Leads the implementation of digital campaigns across its territory, in close relationship with the Global Digital Campaign team and the local Marketing Managers.

  • Supports local digital activation on own, bought and earned media.

You will work in close collaboration with our Country Marketing Manager, Brand marketing team, Marketing peers, Local sales teams.

You will report directly to the Global Digital Campaign Manager

 

Main Activities:

Digital Campaign execution

  • Localize & implement local digital campaigns on salomon.com
  • Plan and execute campaign local media buy on local vertical and horizontal digital medias, under guidance of the local Marketing Manager


Salomon.com localization

  • Leads localization and amplification of the local activities through the salomon.com platform (Content hub: news pages, events pages, form-factory pages, athletes’ pages, product trials…) in close relationship with the local Marketing Manager.
  • Support / Coordinates translation of the salomon.com platform.


Social Media activation and Local database acquisition

  • Leads national social media presence (where applicable) activation in close relationship with local content creators / IMM / Marketing Manager
  • Leads epicenter social media presence (where applicable) activation in close relationship with local content creators / IMM / Marketing Manager
  • Leads local / epicenter database acquisition campaigns, in close relationship with the local Marketing Manager.
     

Reporting

  • Report progress of KPI achievement to Global Digital Campaign Manager and local Marketing Manager

Qualifications

  • Needed Work Experience: 

    • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in a Digital Agency or at the same position.  

    • Experience in working directly with accounts and sports industry experience are a plus.

  • Education: 

    • 5 years degree in marketing, business school with a digital communication specialty / Specialized in digital / media 

  • Foreign Language(s): proficiency in English and local language proficient

  • IT Skills: command of Microsoft Office, graphic/ design programs are a plus

  • Specific Skills: 

    • Understanding of wholesale, own retail, Ecom, digital marketing

    • Understanding of consumer behavior

    • Manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders

    • Budget planning and tracking, vendor management

    • Experience of being consumer facing and delivering consumer plans

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    • Understanding of brand, marketing & digital platforms and tools

    • Understanding and analyzing of digital marketing KPIs

  • Other Specific Transversal Skills: planning & organizing, delivering Results & meeting Customer expectations, communication and presentation skills, relating & networking, persuading & influencing, entrepreneurial & commercial thinking.
