YOU ARE ALL ABOUT RESPONSIBLE INGREDIENT SOURCING

Since 2022 we are a proud, Certified B Corporation. As such, we are committed to continuously improve our social & environmental impact. One of our focus areas is to source our ingredients responsibly, focusing on low-carbon, traceable and certified ingredients.

As a Sustainability Manager – Ingredients, it is your responsibility to develop a roadmap for execution of Rituals’ Sustainability Ingredients strategy. Together with internal departments and (key) suppliers you work on achieving operational sustainability goals. For 36-40 hours per week, your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Actively explore sustainable ingredients with our (key) suppliers and drive implementation on these sustainable ingredients with our Innovations & sourcing team
  • Implement improvement plans with our suppliers on their energy, water, waste and GHG footprints
  • Maintain reporting tools (a.o. the clean & conscious product assortment tool that also includes packaging and supplier environment dashboards)
  • Align with internal departments, ensuring supplier engagement and processes are up to date, ultimately increasing transparency in Rituals’ production supply chain (audits, traceability & changes in standards)
  • Maintain and improve our B Corp score and 2030 Net-Zero commitment on ingredient related subjects
  • Active involvement on external platforms related to sustainable ingredients (such as eco beauty consortium, B Corp Beauty Coalition, etc)

JOIN OUR TEAM

One team is responsible for Category Management and Product Innovations/Development. The other team is focused on Quality & Sourcing projects, ensuring product innovations are added to our Global Assortment.

To be successful in your role, you will also be working with other key departments such as the Sourcing department and the Quality & Regulatory team.
