Job Description

As part of the Benelux Supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the demand and supply of products. You will play a key role within the organization by proactively communicating business intelligence to ensure relevant customer service goals and this by maintaining optimal stock levels for the subsidiary.

Responsibilities

Demand:

  • You will coordinate the monthly sales forecast process in relation with the sales team, the distributors, finance and marketing teams,
  • organize and animate the sales forecast committee meeting, and obtain validation of turnover and volumes assumptions by the area management team (CEO, finance, supply chain, sales, marketing)
  • You analyze the sales forecast on his area and alerts the supply teams of any big variation, that could have an impact on the sales coverage,
  • Provide high visibility to all departments on sales projections, risk vs opportunities, sales forecast accuracy, allocation follow up & action plan.
  • You will define, follow and implement in IBP the launch plans for news products in relation with the sales and marketing teams and provide high visibility to all departments on risks & opportunities.

Supply:

  • From CLS you will validate stock rules adjustments proposed by the network planner. (At least 2 updates per year),
  • Check local impact for any risk of shortage raised by the network planner, and decide mitigation action plan.
  • Manage all local operations on the receiving part (customs, link with Logistic provider, quality issue, claims, stock reconciliation, …)
  • From other suppliers you will create and update all SAP/IBP master data used for planning and execution of purchase,
  • Decide and update the stock rules for each sku / group of Sku, for the receiving plants
  • Provide monthly purchase plans to suppliers,
  • Place purchase orders and ensure deliveries follow up

Local coordination :

  • For all products sold, you will communicate to relevant local teams on the stock availability risks,
  • Ensure strong collaboration with the Business (Sales, Marketing,Finance & logistics), to understand trends, Risks and Opportunities.
  • Ensure a dynamic information sharing with network planner,
  • For all new product, promo, or limited edition, you will provide clear strategy on implementation to central team. Coordination with demand planner, and marketing team,
  • You will manage local copack operations : master data, planning and execution,
  • Manage planning and execution of local transfers of stocks;
  • Animate the E&O Stock review and action plan.
  • Ensure with customer service manager, the service level KPI check (delay analysis) and communication
  • In charge of logistic provider coordination on inventory reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • You have knowledge in Demand and Supply planning method in FMCG and/or international companies and can look back on at least 5 years experience in supply planning.
  • You are highly analytical and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • You can analyze the sales forecast identifying gaps versus budget, you flag risks based on stock positions and constrained supply.
  • You manage an efficient, realistic, feasible purchasing & co-packing plan on short and medium term and continuously keep up to date with changes that may influence the plan (constraints management coming from different horizons: logistics, production , marketing, planning, …)
  • You communicate and collaborate clearly with all stakeholders and ensure priorities are clear and execution is according to plan
  • You use data analysis to identify potential risks and manage service level towards key customers based on defined allocation strategies.
  • You are responsible for all communication about supply status and risk to key stakeholders such as customer service, sales and marketing, Finance.
  • You ensure a high level of timely communication
  • You support and coordinate new product introduction and local co-pack requirements
  • You are acquainted with SAP (Cap One – IBP) and have a high level knowledge of Excel
  • You are fluent in Dutch, and/or French and English
