Job Description

To achieve the Company’s objectives and Revenue Targets within the Government and Corporate segments for all Peermont Global Botswana’s Hotels and conference centres in the designated portfolio through sourcing, securing and servicing business, new business prospects, as well as from past and current clients.

  1. Source commitments and conferencing/events/accommodation/business club business for all Peermont Global Botswana Hotels and conference centres in the designated portfolio.
  2. Source new business through Telesales / Cold Calling within the allocated market segments.
  3. Service Clients at regular intervals to keep top of mind awareness for designated Peermont Global Botswana segments.
  4. Build a strong network within TAAB/PCO decision making network – including room contracts, exhibition, conference and event markets.
  5. Conduct regular site inspections for existing and new clients.
  6. Negotiate rates and availability in conjunction with the Hospitality Marketing Manager where necessary.
  7. Achieve monthly and combined quarterly targets for the designated portfolio.
  8. Attend to, follow up on and reply to all enquiries, offers, quotes and confirmations timeously.
  9. Process Vendor Registration forms, Credit Applications, Negotiated Rate Agreements.
  10. Conduct regular and updated presentations to all stake holders for the Peermont Global Botswana properties to Clients.
  11. Assist with the collection of Advanced Deposits and Signed Contracts.
  12. Record and update all contact details, appointments and calls on Sales Database (Salesforce.com) and submit weekly and monthly Sales Reports accordingly.
  13. Develop and execute a sales plan and associated projects within the required timeframe as allocated by the Hospitality Marketing Manager.
  14. Host and Attend client events and familiarisation trips.
  15. Business Club membership sales to corporate and individuals.
  16. Develop sales pipeline and aim to secure forward booking for at least three (3) to six (6) months.

Qualifications

  1. Relevant Sales Qualification required;
  2. 3 Years related Sales experience required, preferably in the Hospitality, travel, airline or car rental sector.

Additional Information

  1. Existing strong database and relationships with decision makers in the relevant market;
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  3. Strong organizational skills.
  4. Computer literacy essential;
  5. Own transport and a valid driver’s licence required.
