SNY is looking for a full time Multiplatform Promotion Producer/Editor to join its award-winning creative team. You will work within the Marketing Department and pitch, develop, write, edit and distribute tune in messaging for programs, on-air promotions, sales and digital initiatives. 

The ideal candidate is creative and innovative with excellent storytelling skills, fluent in Avid Media Composer and After Effects, and has a thorough knowledge of sports both regionally and nationally.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Create and execute promotional concepts that enforce SNY’s brand of being the “Home Of All Things New York Sports” across on-air, digital, and social platforms. This includes conceptualization, copywriting, producing, and editing spots for programming and digital content.
  • Produce original and engaging social media content designed to promote SNY programming, events, and brand initiatives while driving audience engagement
  • Collaborate with on-air talent and sports figures to create customized promotions that enhance visibility and extend SNY’s reach
  • Coordinate cross-departmental promotional activities, working closely with marketing, sales, news, and digital teams to support special events, live game coverage, sny.tv, and multi-platform campaigns
  • Oversee production elements, including on-camera shoots and voice-over sessions, ensuring creative consistency and high-quality execution
  • Contribute to special projects and support additional promotional initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Media, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum five (5+) years’ experience in television or digital production, with a strong focus on promotions and brand storytelling, and multi-platform content creation
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Avid Media Composer, After Effects, and Photoshop with the demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality content
  • Comprehensive knowledge of production and post-production workflows, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Proven understanding of digital and social media platforms, including current trends, audience engagement strategies, and best practices 
  • Knowledge of sports, both regionally and nationally, with the ability to translate insight into engaging, relevant promotional content

Location & Time Commitment: 

  • This is a full-time position based in our downtown New York City office and follows a hybrid schedule, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

In accordance with applicable NYC law, the estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience. This position is bonus eligible.
