Job Description
At IPAR, we have a range of career opportunities to explore. Most commonly, the roles advertised including but not limited to are Rehabilitation Consultant, Rehabilitation Assistant & Business Support roles. We also have some hybrid opportunities post completion of the mandatory probation and onboarding/induction periods.

Rehabilitation Consultant - FT and PT opportunities
Are you an Allied Health qualified professional and looking for a career where you can support people holistically and help them move forward with their health & work goals?
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be working with people who have sustained a psychological and/or physical injury, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, client centred services; assessing clients' needs, then developing and implementing strategies to enable a safe return to wellbeing and/or either their original employment, or new employment role as part of their rehabilitation.
Part of your role will include:
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve wellbeing and return to work outcomes
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
Rehabilitation Assistant - Casual, FT and PT opportunities
Are you looking for a career where you can support others to achieve their rehabilitation goals and are you interested in working with Allied Health professionals? Or are you studying or thinking of studying a health qualification? Then the Rehabilitation Assistant position may be the role for you!
Our Rehabilitation Assistant’s experience a flexible and supportive work environment, working from their home anywhere in Australia as well as from our friendly team offices. The choice is yours!
Part of your role will include:
- Liaising with Rehabilitation Consultants to assist with tasks to facilitate rehabilitation for clients
- Communicate with clients, their treatment team and referrer to arrange appointments and follow up documentation
- Apply your skills in report writing and knowledge of health literacy to produce documents to a high standard and within a timely manner
- Work within a remote team and collaborate with other Rehabilitation Assistants (RA)’s on group-based projects
You will be supported by team leaders, managers and colleagues and provided ongoing training. Opportunities for career progression are available as well as flexible work arrangements.
Business Support - FT and PT opportunities
Are you an individual with a background in Administration looking for a new role in Occupational Rehabilitation as a Business Support Officer?
Part of your role will include:
- Working in the office; Flexible working opportunities for committed team members!
- Welcoming and assisting clients and visitors at a reception desk
- Manage incoming calls and email enquiries
- Accurate data entry into IPAR’s client database system
- Assisting with mailing/postage of letters and small parcels
- Managing stock levels of office supplies and completing online orders as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to colleagues, clients and customers
- Keep the reception areas clean and tidy
- Assisting with debt recovery and invoicing procedures
- Friendly, fun, supportive, and inclusive team

Qualifications
Some of the key skills/traits we look for across our roles include:
- A passion for improving lives through work and health
- A current Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle with comprehensive insurance when applying specifically for Rehabilitation Consultant roles
- Current Police Check & Working With Children Check (or ability and willingness to obtain as part of the recruitment and onboarding process)
- Allied Health and Registered Nursing qualifications and professional registration/accreditation (or ability to obtain) when applying specifically for Rehabilitation Consultant roles
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Good rapport building & collaboration skills
- Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
