Our client, ADASA SISTEMAS SA (ADASA), a leading specialist in environmental monitoring, telemetry and water resource management solutions, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Operations Manager to lead the delivery, operation and maintenance of its projects and services across Fiji.

The Engineering Operations Manager will play a key role in leading ADASA's operational activities across Fiji, ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing support of environmental monitoring and telemetry infrastructure. The position combines technical expertise, operational leadership and stakeholder engagement, requiring a hands-on professional who can coordinate field teams, manage contractors and maintain strong client relationships. The role also supports the growth of ADASA's operations in Fiji through the delivery of high-quality services, effective resource management and continuous improvement of operational performance.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead operational delivery of monitoring and telemetry infrastructure across Fiji.
• Manage projects, installations, commissioning and maintenance activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and contractors.
• Lead and coordinate technicians, subcontractors and field teams.
• Undertake hands-on installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of monitoring systems.
• Monitor asset performance, reliability and service delivery outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, safety and quality requirements.
• Maintain operational records, reporting and project documentation.
• Support business development, tender activities and growth opportunities.
• Travel throughout Fiji, including remote and outer-island locations, as required.

• A Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' experience in telemetry, communications, industrial automation or related infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience managing technical field operations, maintenance contracts or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, contractors and service providers.
• Strong knowledge of telemetry, communications, remote monitoring systems, solar power systems, battery systems and remote-site infrastructure.
• Experience with SCADA platforms, dataloggers and industrial communication protocols.
• Sound troubleshooting skills across instrumentation, communications and power systems.
• An understanding of HSE and quality management requirements within field operations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, client relationship and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Fiji, including remote and outer-island locations.
• Experience in hydrometric, environmental or water monitoring systems will be highly regarded.
