Right now we're looking for a 3D Artist with passion for action, speed and creativity! Do you want to be part of showing how to make the many people’s dreams come true, working together with Interior Designers, Photographers and Retouch Artists producing world class 3D Communication.

As 3D Artist, you will be responsible for producing high quality photo realistic 3D Images.  You are responsible for delivering to the brief in time and contribute in creating the most efficient working situation. You contribute regarding choice of image production methods and keep up-to-date with technical development and image trends.

In this role you will: 

  • Combine creativity, technology and story-telling, to produce high quality 3D images of products, room settings and environments, both still and motion that delivers to the brief and IKEA´s communication strategy.
  • Participate actively in the discussion regarding the production methods, ways of working and communicative direction, based on technical pre-requisites Fine-tune the 3D scene, prop, set the light and adjust image composition in cooperation with Interior Designer.
  • Analyze and challenge the right balance between quality, time and cost during the daily work.
  • Keep up-to-date with new 3D, animation and image processing techniques and trends, and adopt early.
  • Perform basic editing and retouching when needed, such as cropping, colour correction and other specialized effects.
  • Compile and store all images and scenes in accordance to the set guidelines, frame work and technical pipeline.
  • Build and maintain good professional relationships and close cooperation with Interior Designers as well as all co-workers in the project team, and partners and assignors.
  • Participate, contribute and ensure the purpose of your role is added in the decisions taken in the many groups you are part of.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need:

  • 5+ years working experience in architectural visualization, 3D, or relevant area
  • Expert with 3Ds MAX, V-RAY, 3d Modelling & UV Mapping
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Unity, after effects, nuke (Houdini) an advantage
  • Familiar with Windows, Mac OS, Raw converters, Photoshop, Z-brush and Marvelous Designer.
  • Experience in Lighting, Composition, Animation, storytelling, and Post-production
  • Evidence of experience in VR and or AR will be a big plus
  • Passionate in home furnishing, and how this influences images
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
