C&F Systems Specialist

  • Full-time

Job Description

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US

As a C&F Systems Specialist within our Global Construction & Facilities team, you will play a key role in developing the systems and ways of working that support our store portfolio and everyday C&F operations.

In this role, you will be the link between our C&F business and our systems, turning operational needs into smart, scalable solutions. You will work across functions, teams and markets to make sure our systems enable efficient processes, reliable data and continuous improvement.

If you enjoy combining business understanding, systems and people, and want to have a real impact on how we work globally, this could be the role for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As C&F Systems Specialist, you will take ownership of our C&F systems and connected platforms from a business perspective. You will work closely with colleagues across C&F as well as functions such as Retail Tech, IT and Security, together with external system partners.

You will:

  • Act as business expert and super user for C&F systems and connected platforms.
  • Translate business and operational needs into clear system requirements, improvements and new functionalities.
  • Drive and co-lead system developments, upgrades and integrations, including testing, validation and release readiness.
  • Develop smarter and more scalable ways of working through automation, standardisation and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong governance around workflows, data structures, configurations and user permissions.
  • Support Facility Managers, Project Managers and vendors throughout the system lifecycle, including onboarding, training and expert support.
  • Analyse how our systems and workflows are used to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development of dashboards, KPIs and insights that enable better decision-making.
  • Represent C&F in system steering groups and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Benchmark best practices and bring forward ideas that improve our tools, processes and ways of working.
  • Help ensure our systems support relevant compliance, audit, safety and data security requirements.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone who is passionate about connecting business needs with systems and technology. You enjoy understanding how things work today, challenging existing ways of working and finding practical solutions that make them better.

You have a natural drive to take ownership and move things forward. At the same time, you are a strong collaborator and communicator who is comfortable working with people across different functions and areas of expertise.

You are structured and analytical, but also pragmatic. You can move between details and the bigger picture and translate complex system topics into clear business language.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Experience from system rollouts, upgrades, integrations and/or digital transformation projects.

  • Experience working across different functions and stakeholder groups, for example IT, Security, Retail Tech, Finance or external service providers.

  • A good understanding of Facility Management processes, such as maintenance workflows, assets, SLAs and vendor coordination.

  • Experience working with business systems, workflows, roles and data.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Experience supporting change, developing guidance or training users and driving adoption.

  • The ability to translate operational requirements into clear actions and system needs.

  • A collaborative, solution-oriented approach and confidence in managing different stakeholder expectations.

  • Experience with a CAFM system is highly relevant, Planon experience is considered an advantage. Experience from business development or a similar environment is also beneficial
