Job Description

The role of a Graduate at Colliers is to provide support in the delivery of all projects and professional assignments. Developing strong working relationships and ensuring that senior management are supported with regular and necessary information.

Whilst undergoing the commercial property pathway, you will have exposure to real-estate in the private and public sector. Due to the rotations, you will work across a range of business lines and sectors including; Valuations & Consultancy, Capital Markets, Agency, Investment and Industrial and Logistics.

You will be supporting senior management in a range of activities including:

  • Valuing and surveying property
  • Acting as an agent or broker during a sale
  • Selling, letting, buying or renting property on behalf of clients
  • Advising clients on the best type of property or location to meet their needs
  • Contract negotiations between landlords and tenants
  • Advising clients on where to invest their money within property
  • Property management
  • Obtaining planning permissions for planning developments
  • Advising clients on matters relating to business rates

What to Expect

Your work will mainly be office based but will include time out of the office, attending meetings, visiting sites and meeting clients. *This will be subject to COVID-19 restrictions and remote working may be required.

During the programme you will be working towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor. To become chartered, you will complete the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) which is offered by RICS. Throughout the duration of the programme whilst working full time you will need to evidence your training through logbooks and complete an assessment interview.
