Programme Overview
The Immersive Internship Program (IIP) is designed for university students in Ghana, specifically those studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information technology, or other STEM-related courses. The program aims to provide hands-on industry experience, preparing students for careers in software development. This is a paid internship program that includes stipends, along with mentorship and networking opportunities to further enhance career prospects.

Program Objectives

• Skill Enhancement: Develop practical technical skills through hands-on
  experience and mentorship
• Bridging the Gap: Connect academic knowledge with real-world industry
  practices.
• Preparing Students for the Job Market: Equip students with the skills
  and experience required for software development roles

Specializations
The program offers two core specializations:

• Frontend Development
• Backend Development

Program Design
The IIP is designed to offer real-world industry experience by integrating interns
into active development teams. Interns will:

• Be assigned tasks on ongoing projects.
• Participate in team meetings and agile ceremonies.
• Attend bi-weekly specialized workshops to enhance technical and
• professional skills.
• Benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities, allowing them to build industry connections and receive career guidance.

Program Duration
Six (6) weeks.

Eligibility

• 3rd-year Computer Science, Computer Engineering, I.T., related programmes (2nd-year students offering a 3-year diploma can apply).
• Familiarity with the building blocks of programming.
• The internship will take place across our three office locations: Accra, Takoradi, and Kumasi.
