You'll be part of the Strategic Risk, Compliance and Assurance team, which is responsible for providing oversight and assurance on the Group’s Governance, Risk and Control framework (GRC) and the Compliance and Ethics framework to the Audit and Risk Committee (A&RC) and the Board of Directors.
The Corporate Finance Intern - Risk & Compliance will be responsible for providing assistance with various risk management and compliance activities. .You’ll collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders both at the corporate and marketplace level. This is a unique opportunity to understand the company value chain as you’ll interact directly with a variety of functions such as HR, Product and Technology (P&T), Legal, Finance and Treasury,etc.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Support the Risk, Internal Control & Assurance Manager in the oversight of risk management activities across the Group
Assist with the analysis of identified risks from a variety of sources such as assurance and compliance checks or other internal or external sources
Provide support in the design and implementation of risk monitoring processes, contributing to the design of Key Risk Indicators (KRI)
Assist in the development of automated risk reporting capabilities with an emphasis on building a streamlined structure supported by an integrated risk management tool
Work closely with the Legal team in the design and implementation of the Group’s Compliance framework
Contribute to the creation of regular risk reporting for the Group CFO and Audit & Risk Committee, working closely with functions and business units across the Group to compile and analyse relevant data
University degree or equivalent is essential with post graduate studies desirable
Self-starter who is flexible and has a strong drive for results and value creation
Strong interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to professionalism and integrity
Ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
Attention to detail, good analytical skills and strong project management skills are a plus
Excellent written and verbal English communication and influencing skills. Knowledge of French, Spanish, Italian or other European languages is a plus
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Prior internship in the area of Risk Management, Compliance or Internal Audit is a plus
