Purpose
The Regional Security Manager EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing and executing security strategies, programs, and operations across the MEAR (Middle East, Africa, and Russia) region and assisting Regional Security Director for EMEA security activities. Reporting to the Regional Security Director for EMEA, the role requires expert knowledge in security risk management, crisis response, business continuity planning, investigation and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop, implement, and manage strategic security plans and functions for the region aligned with organizational objectives
- Provide security leadership and establish regional security business plans for assigned sites
- Ensure the protection of people, assets, and information within the region
- Coordinate executive protection support for regional visits and events
- Act as the point of contact and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies
- Support development of on-site security and business continuity management (BCM) coordinators
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory security requirements
- Develop security guidelines, procedures, standards, and training methods
- Conduct crisis management exercises and ensure BCM plan updates
- Conduct security investigations, assessments, and audits
- Manage security incident reporting and investigations at sites
- Main point of contact for BTS security architecture assistance
- Manage alert notifications and crisis activations across the region
- Manage enterprise security platform integration between US HQ and regional assets
- Leverage knowledge of physical and technical security systems
- Principal regional security point of contact for crisis communications
- Maintain statistical databases for operations/incidents and training
- Contribute to global security training coordination
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, military or security
- Minimum 12 years of management experience in law enforcement, intelligence, public or private security
- International security, executive protection, crisis management, BCM experience preferred
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 30% within assigned region
- Strong understanding of security systems and tools
- Proven success in impactful security roles
- Strong interpersonal and executive presence with business leaders
- Enterprise-level strategic mindset aligned with business strategy
- Ability to influence senior leaders and provide reasoned judgment
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
