We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP BW Consultant to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA Transformation initiative.

In this role, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP Business Warehouse and Analytics solutions, supporting complex business processes and data-driven decision-making.

You will play a key role in designing and enhancing SAP BW solutions, developing backend and frontend components, and identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization.

The position combines strong SAP BW and Analytics expertise with technical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset, offering the opportunity to contribute to a complex enterprise transformation program.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SAP BW and Analytics solutions to support business processes and reporting requirements.

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components using SAP BW on HANA, SAP BI-IP, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, and related technologies.

• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable SAP BW solutions.

• Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and external implementation partners.

• Design and implement data models, reporting solutions, and planning functionalities within the SAP BW ecosystem.

• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, designing technical solutions to improve efficiency and performance.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Optimize existing SAP BW applications, data processing workflows, and reporting performance.

• Contribute to the integration of SAP BW solutions within hybrid SAP landscapes and other enterprise systems.

• Support continuous improvement of development processes, technical standards, and working methodologies.

• Participate in agile development activities, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery processes.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience in SAP BW consulting, development, or related SAP Analytics technologies, ideally at senior level.

• Strong technical knowledge of SAP BW on HANA and the SAP Business Intelligence ecosystem.

• Experience with SAP BI-IP, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Datasphere, with relevant expertise across these technologies.

• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing SAP BW data models, reporting solutions, and analytics applications.

• Experience developing or maintaining backend and frontend components within SAP BW and Analytics environments.

• Good understanding of SAP data integration, data processing, and reporting architectures.

• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

• Experience working in engineering or technology roles, ideally within agile product environments.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery processes.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Very good English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA implementations, migrations, or transformation projects.

• Experience working with SAP Datasphere in hybrid SAP landscapes.

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud planning and advanced reporting functionalities.

• Experience integrating SAP BW with SAP S/4HANA or other enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of automation and modern data integration approaches within SAP environments.

• Experience working in large-scale SAP transformation projects or international ERP environments.

• German language skills.
