Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping using IFS
• Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
• Matching purchasing invoices to purchase orders.
• Posting purchase invoices ensuring correct cost centres.
• Bank/Credit Card reconciliation
• VAT returns.
• Posting journals.
• Monthly reports.
• Helping purchasing team raising purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers.
• Supporting Financial Controller with adhoc requests
• Other office admin jobs as required.

Essential

• Good understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Experience in using accounting software.
• Numerical with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Bookkeeping qualification: e.g. ICB, IAB, AAT etc. (or equivalent)

Desirable

• Experience with IFS.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.
• Industry experience of bookkeeping.

Package

Salary in the range of £28,000-£33,000 dependent on experience, with competitive benefits package.

AAT level 3 or above
