Job Description

The role: SharePoint Administrator

As the SharePoint Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment. You will be responsible for understanding business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. You will resolve customer complaints and respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancement. You will also be responsible for providing on call support on a rotational basis as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide SharePoint administration and technical support for O365 Enterprise SharePoint and on-premise environments
  • Manage and maintain site Content and Structure settings, Site Hierarchy, and site collection navigation
  • Utilize Sharegate tool for migrations of SharePoint sites and collections to the O365 SharePoint Online Environment
  • Design, configure, manage, and maintain comprehensive site collection, site, and list level usage reports and usability analysis
  • Identify and report governance violations for Enterprise SharePoint using DLP and IRM configurations for O365 SharePoint and on premise environments
  • Update Documentation, Check the validity and accuracy of any documentation that is used by the end users, site owners and Administrators
  • Allocate additional Storage Quota to the site collections as they reach the maximum storage limit set by default
  • Configure and administer SharePoint and automate tasks
  • Work on tickets and service requests for Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Online O365 Enterprise SharePoint and on premise environments meeting the SLAs in the ITSM system
  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise taxonomy, terms, and keywords for the term store
  • Support Microsoft One Drive for Business sync issues and work with the users to recover data lost
  • Test and implement new features in a SharePoint on premise environment.
  • Manage and delete Site Collections and sub sites in Office 365 SharePoint Online system as per service requests
  • Create eDiscovery Centers in Office 365 SharePoint Online 2013
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide customer support for end users utilizing O365 SharePoint Online O365 Enterprise SharePoint and on premise environments.
  • Schedule, plan, and performing system upgrades, including testing, rollback procedures and risk analysis for email and all related services.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

· Bachelor’s degree in IT related field with 5 years relatable experience

· Experience managing and administration of enterprise-level O365 SharePoint 2013

· Experience troubleshooting issues and providing customer support for service requests related to O365 SharePoint Online and on premise environments.

· Experience migrating site collections using Sharegate.

· Experience supporting One Drive for business

· Experience working with Active Directory, PowerShell, eDiscovery site collections

Desired:

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SharePoint Configuration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange in a resource forest model with other disciplines such as Active Directory and desktop, web and mobile clients.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 compliance controls such as DLP and RMS
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
  • Possession of a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SharePoint Configuration
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
  • Experience using Exchange tools, remote PowerShell and other scripting languages and monitoring tools including but not limited to MOM/SCOM.
  • Experience installing, configuring, administering and monitoring Exchange Active Sync services and providing assistance with mobile devices.
