Responsibilities 

Identify and translate, high level business requirements into operational requirements for different functions (M2M, Backend, Mobile Apps) 

Develop Technical requirement specification documents that will be followed by the project team during the execution of the project 

Using the experience of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile methodology and understanding the project timeline, take required technical decisions to keep the project on track 

Defect triaging and prioritization of tasks / issues as required by the development and testing team 

Give inputs into new feature roadmap 

Owning the project, solve the technical issues of the development and testing team 

Must Have Skills 

Education: BS. IS, Engineering or equivalent 

3-5 years of work experience in developing / executing large scale distributed systems with a focus on building Internet of Things (IoT) applications 

Knowledge of various IoT (Internet of Things) technologies including Mobile, Java middleware, M2M, Cloud, voice (Amazon, Google, IBM), etc. 

Experience in one or many areas of machine interaction model, Rule Engines, Big Data, etc. 

Good working experience on Web Service Integration, RESTful APIs, WebSockets and MQTT 

Sound knowledge and understanding of data security 

Desired 

Experience with industry-scale IoT solutions on at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, Bluemix, etc. 

Experience with DevOps tools used for Code Integration / Code Deployment 

Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies with thorough understanding of scalable, highly available, secure and robust n-tier architectures 

Excellent analytical and problem solving ability 

Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to deliver on time and work under deadline pressure 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Ability to work as a team player and / or lead a team to build innovative IP solutions that showcase thought-leadership and creativity 

Passionate about learning new technologies and creating innovative solutions
