So, what are the main responsibilities of a Web Editorial Specialist in Netcompany?
As a Web Editorial Specialist you will:
- Manage and curate content across the client’s websites, ensuring accuracy, consistency, user engagement, and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Create, edit, and proofread a wide range of web content, including landing pages, news articles, event announcements, speeches, and other digital communications.
- Administer and maintain website content using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Drupal, ensuring proper formatting, metadata, tagging, and content structure.
- Apply SEO best practices, conduct keyword research, and optimise content to enhance visibility, accessibility, and user experience.
- Monitor website performance and user engagement through analytics tools, produce reports, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate closely with content owners, web publishers, developers, social media specialists, and audiovisual teams to deliver new digital features, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Perform regular content audits and updates to ensure information remains relevant, accurate, and compliant with organisational standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of web publishing processes, digital communication strategies, and online user journeys.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- University degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Full professional proficiency in English (C1 level or equivalent); knowledge of French is an asset
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in web editing
- Familiarity with SEO, HTML/CSS, and web analytics tools, such as Piwik.
- Experience with CMS platforms, such as WordPress and Drupal.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
