Job Description
What does it feel like to be an Webmaster in Netcompany?
As a Webmaster, you will:
- Oversee the intranet as the editorial webmaster, including the training and coaching of decentralized contributors.
- Manage the timely publication of news and announcements, ensuring content is visually engaging and properly formatted.
- Create and update intranet pages based on departmental requests while ensuring visual coherence and structural integrity.
- Manage the “Who is Who” section to ensure staff and organizational information remains accurate and up-to-date.
- Guarantee overall editorial consistency and content quality across the platform, adhering to established layout standards.
- Design and adapt graphic elements—such as banners, icons, and infographics—using Canva to enhance digital storytelling.
- Serve as the central point of contact for contributor queries, providing CMS guidance and resolving technical issues.
- Liaise with development teams to report bugs, test new features, and gather user feedback for continuous functional improvement.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Proven experience in web content management, ideally within a large multicultural organization or EU institution.
- Advanced practical knowledge of Content Management Systems, with a specific focus on Drupal.
- Foundational understanding of HTML and CSS to assist with page layout and technical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in digital design, including image resizing, format adaptation, and asset creation (Canva).
- Strong ability to coordinate, train, and provide clear guidance to a diverse network of content contributors.
- Exceptional attention to detail skills and high standards for content quality, accuracy, and tone.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple departmental requests under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Work Arrangement: Fully remote for freelancers - from anywhere in European Union.
