Job Description

The Research Assistant is responsible for supporting human factors staff during user studies conducted by Insight. This role requires a customer service and hospitality mindset, combined with exceptional organizational and people-skills.  You will be interacting with, and supporting, a wide range of individuals including Insight staff, medical and pharmaceutical clients, patients, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Coordinate and schedule testing and participant recruiting activities (onsite and offsite) 
  • See to client and/or participant needs/hospitality during studies
  • Assist with creating and collecting study documentation
  • Manage study supply inventory
  • May be asked to occasionally travel to support offsite studies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Good people skills (interaction with participants, teammates, clients)
  • Good understanding of A/V technology (digital recording equipment, webcams, laptops, microphones)
  • Experience assisting with research involving human subjects (non-clinical) preferred  
  • Ability to collaborate and work with different teams
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat needed

POSITION RANGE: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 Salary (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)
