Job Description
This is a remote role, however you must be located in the UK to be considered for this position.
The PPC Specialist will play a key role in executing and optimizing campaigns on Google Ads and Bing across multiple Life Insurance brands in the UK, Canada, Australia, and beyond. You’ll be responsible for managing large-scale campaigns, identifying performance opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Create, manage, and optimize high-budget PPC campaigns (Google & Microsoft Ads) in competitive international markets.
- Performance Analysis: Continuously analyse campaign performance, identifying scalable opportunities for lead growth and cost efficiencies.
- Ad Copy Optimization: Review, improve, and develop new ad copy to enhance CTR, Quality Score, and ad relevance.
- Compliance Coordination: Manage ad copy changes through the Compliance sign-off process to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Bidding Strategy & Automation: Test and implement smart bidding strategies (Target IS, TROAS, TCPA) to align with business objectives.
- Data Accuracy & Tracking: Maintain high-quality BI data through precise campaign tracking and trafficking.
- KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, uncovering trends and presenting performance insights to management using dashboards and reports.
- Landing Page Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure campaign landing pages are optimized for conversion.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Google Ads expertise (essential), with Bing Ads experience considered a plus.
- Experience with bulk campaign management via Ad Editors.
- Strong keyword research and audience segmentation skills.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4 preferred) and data visualization tools like Looker Studio.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with competitor monitoring and business intelligence tools.
- Experience with Google Ads scripts & automation is a plus.
Your Experience
- Ideally 3+ years hands-on PPC experience in a high-volume B2C or agency environment.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
