Job Description
ThinkBait, the innovative marketing engine for Neilson Financial Services, is seeking an experienced Lead Paid Social Media Content Creator (AI-Enhanced) to oversee the creative team and drive the strategic direction for social media content creation. In this senior role, you will lead the content production team, leveraging AI technologies to scale content rapidly while maintaining high engagement standards. As a key leader in the team, you will be responsible for developing and testing creative concepts, ensuring fast delivery of innovative ideas while optimizing performance across all life insurance brands under your portfolio. You’ll also play a crucial role in mentoring the Paid social media content creators and ensuring best practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Paid social media content creators, ensuring that the team is delivering top-tier creative assets that align with overall marketing strategies.
- Strategic Content Creation: Use AI-powered tools to efficiently produce high-volume content that can be scaled across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), while maintaining high engagement.
- Innovation & Testing: Continuously push the boundaries of creative innovation, identifying new ways to test content at scale. You’ll lead efforts to quickly ideate, develop, and test creative ideas, driving efficiency through AI-enhanced tools.
- Trend Identification & Implementation: Stay at the forefront of social media trends, ensuring that the content being produced is current, relevant, and has high engagement potential. Provide direction to the team to capitalize on emerging trends and platform shifts.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Suggest testing various content formats and creative concepts, through collaboration with the performance marketing team.
- Cross-Platform Strategy: Ensure all creative outputs are optimized for various platforms, adjusting for different audience behaviors and platform-specific requirements.
- Direct Response Focus: Ensure that the content created by the team is rooted in direct response principles, focusing on lead generation, customer acquisition, and driving high conversions through paid social ads.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with the lead generation director and other marketing leaders to align social media content strategies with broader business and campaign goals. Ensure that creative ideas are executable and delivered on time.
- Creative Integrity & Scalability: Maintain a balance between producing high-quality creative content and ensuring rapid execution. You will be tasked with ensuring that the creative remains innovative while keeping pace with business needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in social media content creation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. A proven track record in direct response advertising for paid social is essential.
- AI & Automation Expertise: Strong experience in utilizing AI-driven tools to create, test, and scale content across multiple platforms efficiently.
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Ability to lead a content team with a focus on creative innovation, performance optimization, and delivering tangible results. Experience in analyzing content performance and applying data insights to creative output is essential.
- Creativity & Trend Awareness: A strong grasp of social media trends and best practices to continuously develop and lead the team in producing engaging and innovative content.
- Platform Expertise: Proficiency in managing content creation for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms, understanding platform-specific formats and audience engagement tactics.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration: Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire a team to achieve creative excellence. Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental initiatives.
- Direct Response Mastery: Deep understanding of direct response marketing, including customer acquisition strategies and the ability to create compelling calls to action that drive high engagement and conversions.
